Can you give me a typical example of a public liability claim?

A plumber could be working in a client's property and makes an error, causing extensive water damage to the home. Or you could own a restaurant and accidentally injure a customer by spilling scalding hot water over them. Accidents happen and for a small annual cost, you really are best to be safer rather than sorry.
